Another year in the books!
Frack got the stomach bug on the 23rd, which caused me to cancel Christmas Eve dinner that was to take place here at our house. It was moved to another location with only BP and Frick, from our family, in attendance.
Once they arrived home, we set out cookies and milk for Santa,
set out some reindeer food,
tracked Santa on NORAD,
and after reading the Christmas story from the Bible,
we put two excited little boys to bed (Frog was already in bed).
Then Santa came and put presents under our tree,
set up a Hexbug track,
and added some new fish to our tank:
One fish passed on to fishy heaven Christmas morning before the boys found them. Another was dinner for a bigger fish the next day. We don’t have much luck in the fish department.
At 11:00pm Christmas Eve, BP and I were getting ready for bed. We heard Frick wake up, run over to Frack’s bed and loudly state, “Wake UP FRACK!! It’s Christmas morning!!” After racing into the room, BP reminded the boys it was still Christmas Eve. Good thing Santa brought the boys a clock this year.
Watching the boys open presents is always fun, done in a flash,
and quite messy.
This little guy still doesn’t have the hang of opening gifts and was more interested in the camera:
The very best present came to Auntie B and Uncle S. The last of the triplets came home from the NICU on Christmas Eve! Each are healthy and precious. Now the fun begins!
We hope your Christmas was a joyous one!
