Beach Bums

We just wrapped up our family vacation at the beach.

6 adults and 5.5 kids (Aunt D is pregnant with their #3) under the age of 5, all in a three bedroom condo.

It’s getting crowded.

We are finding that as more children come…

…more ice cream is eaten (by children AND adults).

…less time is spent leisurely reading.

…more time is spent swimming at the beach and pools (to tire little ones out).

…less time is spent sleeping (by children AND adults).

Sweet Little Frog continued his water fascination as he was introduced to low tide, sand, and salt water.

Success.

Frick and I waded in the water with a stingray–not by choice, mind you.
I have never scooped that child up as fast in my life.

Must have been an interesting sight.

I remember those days. Sounds like you all need to get another condo 😉 Glad the tarballs were far away – we head to the beach at the end of the month and hoping we can enjoy it as much as you all did. Frog is too cute!

Yup. We needed a vacation from our vacation. It sure was fun seeing the kids enjoy themselves. I miss being a kid. *sigh*

It’s amazing how vacation changes when you add kids! You got some sweet pictures of Frog.
