Evolution of Beds

Once upon a time, there were two cribs in a bedroom belonging to Frick and Frack.

Then one day, one of those boys graduated to the coolest toddler bed around…a car bed!

Some time later, Frick moved out of that bed and into a twin bed.  The car bed was passed on to Frack, who upon graduating from the crib, slept in the car bed for almost 2 years.

And then it happened.

Frack grew long limbs…long enough to not fit in his beloved car bed.

So a search to find a twin mattress/box springs for Frack began.

BP decided to make them headboards.

They are made from 109 yr old, 6 panel doors we found in the rafters of the garage when we moved into this house.

They look like something out of a Pottery Barn catalog.

Add a couple of matching comforters I’ve had for about 2 years now and you get this:

And the boys lived happily ever after,

leaping from bed to bed with ease.

We may need to rethink the positioning of the beds.
