A Christmas Letter

Below is my lame attempt at updating you all with our Christmas letter.  Unlike our Christmas cards (which are in the process of being addressed), this did not travel through the US Postal Service.  Instead, it is traveling through the vast Internet(s).  I also get to talk in third person, one of my favorite things to do since joining Facebook.

Dear Friends and Family,

Your cards and pictures have been arriving each day in droves.   And each day they come, our thoughts turn to how behind we are this season.  Thanks for that.  🙂  But seriously, we enjoy reading about your families and seeing how they have grown. On with the update on our family.

Mandy is still teaching preschool where the boys attend.  Her job at home stepped up a notch when Frog joined our family.  Little Frog will be able to join her at school in January as well.  He gets to be thoroughly spoiled by a sweet lady named “Granny”, who will hold, love, and rock him all morning long.  Mandy enjoys pulling out such oldies as the record player to enhance her teaching.  Some teachers use the newest technologies available (i.e. SmartBoards), but she loves the retro tools.

Frick turned 5 in November.  He is in 4k at school and enjoyed telling all of his classmates and his teachers just how fat his Mommy got while she was pregnant with Frog.  Mommy sure appreciated that.  Frick is our sensitive soul, often showing just how much he loves his family.  When Mommy was pregnant with Frog, he would tell Frog through the belly just how much he was loved.

Frack, on the other hand, loved to scream at the belly, “I SCARE YOU BABY!!!!”  As you can imagine, this concerned his parents.  Alas, Frack is the most loving big brother, constantly hugging, kissing, coughing on, and bulldozing his little brother.  Frack has grown by leaps and bounds this year and, big surprise, loves the Clemson Tigers.  DUH.

Frog joined our family on November 5, 2009.  He was so thrilled to meet his mother, he christened her with pee the first time she held him.  It was love at first sight.  He is such a good baby and a delight to have around.  Just ask his brothers.

BP is our Jack of all Trades.  This year, he managed to work his full time job and renovate the inside of our house. We are lucky to have such a stud around the house.

Our rental house next door is for sale again.  Anyone interested in moving down south?  Hey, we hear the neighbors are great.  🙂

Have a blessed holiday season,

BP, Mandy, Frick, Frack, and Frog

That is my favorite memory – Frack screaming at your belly. Hopefully he hasn’t done that now that Frog is outside your belly. What a great year, filled with so many blessings. Wishing you a wonderful new year!

What a great letter, I’m sure people are happy to see it in their in-box.

Your year has been fabulous, hasn’t it?!
