Soccer Starts!

Frick had his first soccer practice EVER tonight.  After a great session, the coach handed out the orange socks and The Clash jerseys.

We just may be calling this team The Crash due to their tendency to run into each other.

I digress….

Is it bad that I let him wear his soccer uniform

(sans shin guards/cleats)

to bed?

He really, really, REALLY wanted to wear them to bed.

And to school tomorrow.

And to Kindermusik tomorrow afternoon.

And to school on Thursday….

Whatever makes them happy. BG has been wearing her bike helmet almost daily since her birthday, lol.

That’s great he’s so excited for soccer. At least he’s not sleeping with the ball.

Well, as long as he didn’t wear the shin guards… 🙂

Have fun — it’s so great when the parents are NUTS yet!

That is cute! I let Emmy wear weird things to bed all the time. I figure that if she gets uncomfortable in them, she will take them off. 😉

I H E A R YOU loud and clear on this one. I did let Danny wear his jersey to bed the first night of his game because he REFUSED to take it off. It’s really funny to watch them play…when one falls down on the field….they all fall down! They don’t know which goal to put the ball in, it is hilarious to watch.
