Frick has it. He did not stay germ free too long (sorry Lu! Hope Bubbie stays well!). His fever hit during THE storms of the season! While the South was getting clobbered by Mother Nature, Frick was getting his version of this bug. Picture us…in the bathroom (the innermost room in our house) with the whole family + the dog. Frick’s temp hits 101 as the storm hits town. Not only is he scared of the thunder and lightning, but he feels cruddy, too. Not so fun in a tiny bathroom. With a dog. Who stinks. He missed the Easter Egg hunt I organized with my Mother’s Club today. 😦
Having a sick child, the fact that it was Palm Sunday (crowds at church), and KNOWING it was going to be a longer Mass than usual (The Passion of Jesus Christ), prompted us to call in for reinforcements for church. BP’s mom, affectionately known as Granny B, came over this morning to watch Frick and Frack while we had a “date” to Mass. How wonderful it was to sit together and focus on what was being said. However, I missed them. I have kinda started to like having the little buggers in the pew with us.
Frick still has the temperature and cough. We have accepted the fact that Frack will be getting it as well. We just hope it is sooner than later, for our Easter plans are pretty exciting. Seriously.
