Breakfast and cuddles in bed,
handmade gifts from adorable children,
including this precious lollipop corsage made by Frack,
and pictures with my boys on the porch before Mass.
What a great day!
Busy Doesn’t Even Describe It.

So where have we been?
Well, we’ve….
waited patiently for Daddy’s plane to arrive at the airport after a week long business trip.
That was the week The Mommy Show was running again–or shall I say I was running to and fro with the boys–AHEM.
We’ve…
…been playing lots of baseball (Frick is the catcher).
Two boys on two different teams and two different fields that happen to be on opposite sides of the park is LOTS of fun.
And we’ve….
…been busy getting shiners on our eye at birthday parties.
Just a little catch up post to let you know we are, in fact, still around.

It’s that time of year.
Both older boys are playing baseball, so we are dividing our time between practices and games.
Oh, and then there’s karate.
And poor Frog gets to tag along to each.
:/
But the boys love it.
Watching their faces light up when they get a hit or catch the ball makes all the running around worth it.
There is also a great pack of siblings around for the kids to play with whenever they are supporting their other brother.
Frog finds the wonders of the ball field/construction zone (they are redoing our city’s recreational ball park) simply amazing.
The most exciting parts of the first game were when Frick stepped up to the plate and hit the ball on the first pitch both times he was at bat.
And this was from a pitching machine–no more coach’s pitch.
Have you seen how fast a pitching machine pitches the ball?
Sheesh.
This is his second at-bat:
I was that crazy mom screaming and crying.
Yep.

Frog and I spent some time at the mall on Sunday.
He was in a terrible mood.
So I made him work the bad mood out.
Ok, ok.
He wanted to push the stroller.
And carry the “packpack”.
See?
He loved every minute of it.
This picture makes me wanna squeeze his cheeks.
Cu-tie.
His brothers are pretty cute, too.
Best buds.
Until one swipes a toy or poots on the other.
Boys are gross.
But cute.
Photo Session 2011

Our yearly photo session in November produced darling photos of our boys.
How does a photographer get smiles and laughs from a group of boys?
A whoopee cushion.
We love potty humor around these parts.
And as you can see, it worked.
Frog is never without his blanket.
Below, is one of my favorites (except for Frog’s goofy face).
Scrabble letters for their names?
Awesome.
Mischievous Elf

Our Elf on the Shelf has been rather mischievous this year.
He TP’d our bathroom.
He made “snow” angels in the flour. And wrote his name. Because all elves love writing their names.
And he removed ornaments from the tree and struck a lazy pose.
The last three nights, Frick has been setting a letter by our Elf (named Nunna) in the hopes it will be delivered to Santa.
Of course, Santa has replied.
Tonight’s letter was especially stellar.
Frick has always had a way with words, and this does not disappoint:
Heck.
If gum is the only thing Frick wants for Christmas this year,
we’ve got it made in the shade.
Seven Years

SEVEN!

Frick is…
…on the A honor roll.
…the STAR student this week at school!
…reading well and reading to his younger brothers.
…losing teeth–three so far.
…going to the grocery store each week with me and buying a treat with his own money (usually gum or a Hot Wheels car).
…so very funny and seemingly unaware of his deadpan wit. He’s seriously hilarious.
…my sensitive soul.

We celebrated his birthday on Frog’s actual birthday.
One of these years, I am going to have to figure out how to plan parties for these guys.
Their birthdays are three days apart, which I am sure will be the makings of a scheduling nightmare in the near future.
Alas, this year went off without a hitch.
Well, until Frack got sick. But that’s a whole different story.
I digress….
This morning, Frick received the breakfast of his choice (homemade pancakes) and has control over our dinner menu tonight.
We are so blessed to have this guy in our lives.
Halloween 2011

I’m a lucky girl.
I had The Karate Kid, and Darth Vader, and some random version of Spiderman to protect me while trick or treating.
And then there was this guy….
who pumped iron prior to his candy rampage.
Look at those muscles in action:
As he approached each doorstep, Muscleman Spiderman loudly stated,
“Teet teet!!”
for candy.
So manly.
We hung out with our usual Halloween crowd in my parents’ cul-de-sac for hot dogs, chili, smores, and trick or treating.
The weather was perfect.
The company was even better.
Another Halloween in the books.

We trucked it to Myrtle for a quick getaway with Uncle B, Aunt D, and the kids.
The weather? Perfect–in the 70s.
The pools? Heated.
The beach? Awesome. No sweating whatsoever.
A far cry from our July Hilton Head trips.
Our time with family? Priceless.
And Clemson won in a nail biter, too.
I haven’t mentioned that Clemson is 7-0 this season. What unfamiliar and exciting territory we roam!!
Some pictures of my growing boys and nephews:
We missed you Nini and Pops!

Aunt D: I think we will make a birthday cake for Uncle B on Wednesday and have a little party for him.
Frick: Wednesday? Oh no. That’s going to be awkward. Reeeaaallly awkward. I think I have plans.
