Six Months

Frog is…

…a half a year old!  ACK!  Where the heck does time go?!?

…a “supported sitter” (ie–almost sitting up by himself).

…in Stage 3 diapers.  He was actually in these just after the 5 month mark.

…weighs 19 pounds, 5 ounces as of May 3.

…in 6-9 month clothes.

…TEETHING.  I have nothing more to say about that.  Bleck.

…rolling over and over and over and over to get around the room.

…saying “oooooo” while puckering his sweet little lips.  He also says “gagagagagaga”, “mamamamama”, and “dadadadadadada”.

…sitting in restaurant high chairs and grocery store buggies with one of those covers and LOVES it –thank you Heather G!  Do you even remember getting that for me when Frick was born?!?  It’s been well used!

…eating peas, oatmeal mixed with apples, and green beans.

…still not really sleeping well, but he has been sick on and off since the first week of April.  And I have done a lot of comforting and cuddling in the middle of the night.

…has a lovey.  :)  It’s a little blanket with his name embroidered on it that he rubs on his face to go to sleep.  Last night we found him on his stomach with the lovey bunched up in his arms and his head resting on it, as one would clutch a pillow.  After making sure he had plenty of room for breathing, we sighed and said,

“SO FREAKING CUTE!”
