It was a hot day for soccer in the south.
The Clash were dropping like flies.
So Coach called in his reserves.
A little boy named Frack.
Frack has been playing with The Clash at practices, but not in the games because he is not old enough. I gave up chasing him off the field long ago. By playing, he was out of trouble and running out some of his energy. The coach generously let him play with the older kids. He is actually a pretty good soccer player.
While I was talking to my friends watching Frick run on the field after an intermission, I noticed a boy who resembled Frack.
Holy moly!! It’s Frack!! On the field?!?

He ran around with the team chasing the ball, twirling on the field, and hugging his friends. He hugged his friends on BOTH teams many times. Parents and coaches were in stitches.
It was the cutest soccer game ever.
If soccer can be cute.
